Wharfe Camp is an adults‑only, quiet camping & glamping site suitable for solo campers and couples seeking space, calm and beautiful surroundings. To preserve this peaceful atmosphere, pets, group bookings and visitors are not permitted. Wharfe Camp is only suitable for you if your preference is a quiet site.

Set in the heart of Wharfedale on the edge of the charming village of Kettlewell, our small independent site enjoys spectacular views of the surrounding Dales and easy access to local walks, pubs and amenities.

A Small Site by Design
Our site licence allows up to 10 camping pitches; despite this we have chosen to offer just five large grass pitches. Fewer pitches mean fewer people — giving guests more privacy, more space and a genuinely tranquil environment. Because we prioritise quality over capacity our pitch fees may be a little higher than others.

Tent Pitches
Each spacious tent pitch measures 10 × 10 metres and is suitable for tents up to 6 metres in length, with room to park alongside (ground conditions permitting). Low hedging around each pitch provides a sense of privacy without spoiling the views. ​Optional electric hook up is available at an extra cost. ​ The tent price for the period selected includes up to two adults, up to two tents and one vehicle.

Campervan Pitch
We offer one hardstanding campervan pitch for small campervans not exceeding 5 metres in length (levelling chocks may be required). Please note: our licence does not permit motorhomes or caravans. ​Optional electric hook up is available at an extra cost. The campervan pitch price for the period selected includes the vehicle, an awning and up to two adults.

Site Facilities
Our communal site facilities are simple, clean and well maintained, and include: WC’s and wash hand basins, an electric shower, outdoor washing-up area, freezer for ice blocks, recycling and refuse area. Please note the washroom is not wheelchair accessible.

Our two luxurious Camping Pods offer a cosy retreat with creature comforts, ideal for visitors seeking tranquility and a touch of luxury.

The Pods are situated in a separate area of the campsite, screened by hedges for privacy, with parking alongside (ground conditions permitting), or in our car park. Use of our communal campsite facilities (see above).

The Camping Pods are heated and fully equipped including: ​double bed & mattress, small chest of drawers, small table & chairs, fridge with small freezer compartment, double induction hob, kettle, toaster, basic cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, basic washing up utensils, hairdryer, USB charging port, outdoor deck with tables & chairs for al fresco dining, and a welcome drink and snack.
The price for the period selected includes up to 2 adults and one vehicle. Bring your own bedding, sleeping bags, pillows, toiletries, towels.
