Our small beautiful village is in a steep, narrow part of the dale, where the old coach road over Park Rash Pass from Middleham and Coverdale joins Wharfedale.
There are two hotels in the village dating back to the days of stage coach travel.
The village sits under the slopes of Great Whernside on one side of the valley and Knipe Scar on the other side.
A beck runs through the centre of the village joining the River Wharfe which flows along the village outskirts.
Dry stone walls are a conspicuous feature of this part of the Dales.
The area is fabulous for a relaxing break whether you choose to just enjoy the scenery, cycling or go walking in the stunning dales.
Kettlewell has also become famous for its annual Scarecrow festival where residents go to painstaking lengths to decorate the village with stunning scarecrows.
The village is 6 miles from Grassington and 14 miles from Skipton.
