Having myself had teachers as parents, and being fortunate to enjoy long summer holidays , I spent a lot of my childhood being bundled into the car, alongside my brother to set off on our next camping adventure. The best feeling in the world  being outside, long walks, cooking on a stove and gazing at the stars. 

I did then follow in the family tradition of becoming a teacher, a career which I loved dearly. However , I had a work/life/balance moment. With the support of my husband, I gave up teaching to follow my dream of having our own small campsite. 

Having been a teacher I found that in the holidays I would prefer to have a break without children and that is where I came up with the idea of an adults only camping experience.

I love meeting campers and feel so lucky in my life to live and work in such an amazing, stunning location.
